Food Guide

There is no such thing as a good food guide or an unhealthy food guide.

All foods are good and there is only an unhealthy diet. It is advisable that an individual eats the foods of his or her choice. It should be borne in mind that half the calories we eat should come from starchy foods and about 30% to 35% but not more from fat and the rest from protein.

It is advisable to refer to the food guide for this. It should be borne in mind that a growing child needs a balanced diet.
